ORBA's Board of Directors is made up of businessmen in the off-road industry who receive nothing for their service but the satisfaction of knowing they are helping to protect OHV recreation and thereby ensure the future of their business and all off-road businesses. Chairman of the Board: Cory Hove - Alba Action Sports Hove bought Alba Action Sports in 1991. Alba is a full line motorsports dealership that specializes in the off-road segment. He currently races a Honda TRX450 in the Best In The Desert series. He grew up in Apple Valley. As a young boy he was obsessed with dirt bikes then moved on to 3-wheelers and ATVs. He is married and has two children Patrick 28 and Kalin 25. The family spent many weekends camping and riding in the desert. Cory's wife Jenny recently fell in love with jeeping so now weekends are split between riding and jeeping. Secretary: John Pederson - Southern Motorcycle Supply, San Diego, CA Chief Financial Officer: Randy Weisser - Off Road Warehouse In June of 2007 Weisser purchased ORW. In addition to being the owner of ORW, Randy is a real estate developer and owner of Unique Lighting Systems in Escondido, CA. Other Board Members: Revelle Harrison - KTM North America Harrison started his career with KTM in 1998. Currently he is the National Sales Manager and General Manager of KTM's west coast office in Murrieta, CA. Harrison is married and has two young boys. In his free time he enjoys racing Grand Prix and Motocross, as well as camping and trail riding at many of the OHV areas in Southern California. Jim Ryan - Ryan Communications Group, LLC Ryan has been in the off-road market for 32 years. He was the Off-Road Group Director at Advanstar Communications, Inc. from 2003 through 2008 and was responsible for the formation of Dirt Sports and Off-Road Business magazines and the Off-Road Impact Trade Show. He currently owns and operates Ryan Communications Group, LLC which produces Dirt Sports and Off-Road Industry magazines and related brand products." Don Emde - Don Emde Publications Don Emde is best known for a motorcycle racing career that includes winning the prestigious Daytona road race in 1972, an event that his father had also won back in 1948. In 1990 he and his wife started their own publishing company which is a full family affair, with daughter Jen working as Editor and Emde’s son Jeff managing advertising for Parts Magazine. Through the years Don has served on numerous Boards of Directors including the Motorcycle Heritage Foundation and the Motorcycle Industry Council. For recreation the Emde family often heads to their favorite camping spot in Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area to ride dirtbikes or drive UTVs. Steve Myers - Interntional Race Consultants Steve Myers has been racing actively in the off-road industry for the past 27 years. Three generations of his family have raced various vehicle classes in various venues such as Best In The Desert, SCORE and Dakar. Currently his two daughters aged 14 and 15 are racing in different events this year for their first time. He is the president of International Racing Consultants (IRC) which specializes in advanced satellite communications in land, air and sea sports as well as commercial and personal logistics. He is also an accounting professional and a founding partner of G & S Myers Corporation. Mr. Myers is also a founder and is acting V.P. of Business Development for Tracking International. Tracking International is a revolutionary web site specializing in all aspects of extreme sporting events. Greg Adler - 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers Greg Adler is currently the President and CEO of the nation’s largest off-road retailer, Transamerican Auto Parts whose family of companies include sixty 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers, Transamerican Wholesale, 4 Wheel Drive Hardware, Pro Competition Tires, Wheels and Suspension, and Truck/Jeep Fest. Greg Adler has grown up in the off-road industry and has a personal interest in the decisions being made regarding land use. Mr. Adler has raced numerous times in the SCORE series, including the BAJA 500/1000, Laughlin, Vegas, and more. More recently, you can see Greg drive the #10 Pro-2 short course race truck in the Lucas Oil and TORC series.
